Michael Alvarado joined the firm as an associate after passing the bar and being sworn in as a lawyer in November, 2007. In law school, Mr. Alvarado worked at the firm for two years, prior to which he clerked for a Domestic Relations judge, during which time he gained an invaluable groundwork for the practice of family law. Mr. Alvarado has worked on a wide variety of cases with complex family law issues including premarital agreements; parentage actions; dissolution of marriage actions; child support and child custody; business valuations; post-decree work; maintenance; emotional and physical abuse; vocational evaluations; and dissipation.

“As a family law attorney, I know that my clients are often struggling emotionally due to abuse, loss, grief or other personal issues,” Mr. Alvarado says. “With that said, I make it a point to not only being an advocate for my clients, but also a counselor for them.”
