Muller Davis
Partner

The origins of Davis Friedman can be traced to Muller Davis' father, whom he joined after working in litigation law for seven years. Eventually partnering with a roster of seasoned veterans of the Chicago legal arena (as well as a cadre of sharp, talented attorneys comparatively new to the profession), Davis, educated in the upper echelons of the Ivy League and presently ranked among the best lawyers in the United States, has helped build one of the most outstanding independent marital law offices in the nation.

Aside from his dedication to the firm and unwavering devotion to his clients, Davis, considered among the most esteemed marital law experts in Illinois, is involved in a broad array of professional activities outside of the office. A member of various regional and national bar associations, Davis lectures widely and writes prolifically about various topics concerning matrimonial law. His most accomplished work, The Illinois Practice of Family Law, written and compiled with Jody Meyer Yazici, is the standard reference for marital lawyers statewide, a comprehensive overview regularly updated to reflect current Illinois law.

We try to practice at the highest level of law in all respects, always putting the clients and their legitimate interests first.

Often it's our job to act as the client's conscience in helping them through this very difficult period.

I'm just proud that I've been able to practice for so long. That's my proudest achievement in law.
