Grazia M. Zorub

With a degree in economics from Duke University and prior experience as a commercial litigator with Jones Day in New York, Grazia Zorub draws on significant financial acumen and legal expertise in challenging matters to guide clients through difficult waters.  She segued into family law after moving to Chicago and joined Davis Friedman, where she represents clients in marital dissolution cases involving child custody, visitation, removal and support as well as complex financial issues and non-marital asset protection.

Ms. Zorub is a sounding board for her clients as well as a dedicated advocate. She believes listening is an underrated skill in the practice of law. “Listening fosters clear, candid communication, which can lead to a client sharing information that often makes a difference in the resolution of the case,” says Ms. Zorub.  Levelheaded, compassionate, strategic and insightful, she helps clients establish their priorities and guides them through a very emotional and uncertain time so they can achieve the best possible outcomes.

Collaboration is also important to Ms. Zorub, who believes it is a powerful tool. “Davis Friedman is an acknowledged leader in the Chicago legal community for helping clients resolve divorce, complex child custody and visitation issues,” says Ms. Zorub. “However, even with decades of experience, as attorneys we sometimes encounter novel legal issues we’ve never seen before. We are always collaborating and learning from one another to best serve our clients.”

Ms. Zorub’s diverse educational and professional background, coupled with her strong communication skills and strategic counsel, benefits clients as she works with them to create a personalized plan of action that will ultimately set them on the path to a happy and secure future.
